We didn't start Aktibo because we had it all figured out.
We started it because we knew what it felt like to want to move more — and not quite feel like the fitness world was built for us.
Aktibo is a proudly Filipino-Australian family brand based in Sydney. We make premium activewear for women, men, kids and the whole family. But more than that, we're building a community where movement feels welcoming, not intimidating — for every pace, every background, every starting point.
Born in the Philippines. Raised in Australia.
Aktibo is the Filipino word for "active" — and it says everything about who we are.
As a Filipino-Australian family, we built this brand to bridge the two cultures we love: the family-first values we grew up with and the active, outdoors lifestyle that Australia gave us. That blend is in everything we make.
Why We Started
I started Aktibo after my own journey back into movement — and remembering exactly how intimidating it felt to start again.
Walking into a gym. Joining a run club. Trying to get active after a long break. That feeling of not knowing if you belong there.
I wanted to build the community I wish I'd had. A space where you show up and immediately feel like you were always meant to be there. That's what I call active belonging — and it's at the heart of everything Aktibo does.
